PK Sound Wows at 013 Venue with Cutting-Edge Audio Demo
On September 3, 2024, the 013 Venue in Tilburg became a hub of audio excellence as FACE Pro and CLARITY | Design & Sonic Optimization hosted an impressive demonstration of PK Sound’s latest innovations.
Designed for professionals in tour production, festivals, rental, and venue management, the event showcased PK Sound’s state-of-the-art technology, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
FACE Pro, the official Central European distributor for PK Sound, teamed up with CLARITY | Design & Sonic Optimization, the only certified fixed install partner for PK Sound across Europe, to organize this exclusive event.
The day was packed with an insightful presentation, live demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, all centered around PK Sound’s revolutionary product features: multi-axis robotic movement of line arrays and pristine acoustics that can be tailored to any space.
The day kicked off with an engaging presentation by Andrew King, Global Brand Manager at PK Sound, and Tim Timmermans, European Partner Support at PK Sound.
They introduced the audience to the unique capabilities of PK Sound’s systems, particularly the advanced multi-axis robotic movement, which allows sound engineers to precisely control both vertical and horizontal acoustic dispersion. This technology ensures that every corner of a venue, no matter its size or shape, receives optimal audio coverage.
Following the presentation, the spotlight shifted to a multitrack session led by sound engineer Niels Jenschen. Erik Bik and Rob van Kollenburg, the talented sound engineers from CLARITY | Design & Sonic Optimization, handled the audio design and measurements ahead of the event using PK .dynamics software. Bik and Van Kollenburg led hands-on multitrack sessions that showcased the practical applications of PK Sound’s technology. Their expertise was evident as they demonstrated how PK Sound’s systems could be fine-tuned to deliver unmatched sound quality, regardless of the venue’s acoustic challenges.
The live performance by Urban Solitude, a renowned Anouk cover band, provided the perfect backdrop for a real-world demonstration of PK Sound’s capabilities. This performance was tuned by the legendary rock ‘n roll sound engineer Toon de Quant.
The main stage featured a Trinity Black deployment with T218 subwoofers and T10 front fills, delivering an audio experience that was both powerful and crystal clear. Meanwhile, the second stage, equipped with a T8 robotic line array and T18 subwoofers, showcased a different but equally impressive sound configuration.
Attendees had the opportunity to interact directly with the technology during hands-on sessions, including a brief introduction to the .dynamics control software. This user-friendly tool allows for precise management of complex audio setups, further underscoring PK Sound’s commitment to innovation and ease of use.
The success of the event was not only due to the cutting-edge technology and expert presentations but also to the outstanding support from the 013 Venue crew. Their professionalism and meticulous attention to detail ensured that the demo ran smoothly from start to finish, creating an ideal environment to showcase PK Sound’s products.
In conclusion, the PK Sound demo at the 013 Venue was a resounding success, offering attendees an exciting glimpse into the future of live sound. With the combined expertise of FACE Pro, CLARITY | Design & Sonic Optimization, and the 013 team, this event highlighted how PK Sound is setting new standards in the audio industry, making it a must-have for any professional looking to elevate their sound experience.
